I have VT'd my car and despite no other claims for fair wear and tear I have been asked for excess mileage which once pro rata is about 10k above my limit (48k over 4 years handed back 6 months early) and comes with an invoice, as they have put it, for £816
My query is and having looked at previous threads do I need to pay this as I really cant afford to at this time hence VT ing the car. I have queries it with them to state that the excess mileage is an end of contract invoice as stated on the 1st letter from them which if VT should not be paid but they have sent me a decision, attached and namely para 11.4 where it states if agreement terminates early then they will reduce the mileage and charge accordingly, not exact words but almost.
Am I in a sense out of luck and have to pay ?? I attached the relevant documents all help greatly appreciated
