VT - How long to come off Credit File?

Hi all,

We're in the process of VT'ing with VWFS (actually served notice this morning) and wanted to know how long it takes to show on your Credit File as "Satisfied"?

We're applying for a mortgage in a month, so ideally need this to be cleared.

Voluntary Termination is your right under the Consumer Credit Act 1974 section 99. This will not affect your credit rating. It will show as a VT but with no further info. It should have no detrimental affect on mortgage applications.
