  • Nearly new car purchase

    I bought a nearly new car in October 2018 a 17 plate astra
    cut a long story short it had a few body work issues bet these were camouflaged to get the car out the door and weren’t spotted until early January, the dealership are playing hard ball , what should I do

    We can't tell you what you should do, you need to work out yourself what resolution you want. Your initial post doesn't give much information either so it's difficult to say what you may or may not be entitled to do.

    How did you purchase the car, was it cash, finance etc. If the car was financed did you sign paperwork at the dealership or from your own home.
    Did you inspect the car prior to purchasing it? If not, why not?
    Was there any advert to the car that you relied on and did it say anything about the condition of the car?
    Why wasn't the damage spotted until early January, can you elaborate?

    Without supplying the above information, I would say that as it currently stands, you have little to no rights.
