  • Vw crafter 2015. Dashboard flashing dashboard dramas

    Hi and thanks in advance.
in a vw crafter when the whole dashboard started flashing. (The radio started on and offing too).
The computer part that illuminates what ever might arise , problems wise ( like alternator, engine light, open door etc)one after the other went through ever possible fault in its memory. The light I might add intermittently flashed to the passers bys joy. The motors performance was not affected at all. After a while it just stopped. And its happened handful of times.
Been taken to a garage who hooked it up to a computer (mates gRage of sorts). The computer came up with no faults. It's left us dumbfounded and without a reliable working van

does any body have any ideas or shared a similar experience?

    Hi and welcome

Being old school I would first be checking battery and all ground connections, and then the voltage regulator (which on VWs is within the alternator?)
