  • Voluntary termination motor finance

I VT’d my finance agreement with close motor finance in May. I have used a number of the template letters in correspondence with them but they are still insisting I owe the excess mileage and have since referred my “debt” to a debt management company.
I’m getting worried now as they have stated in their last letter that this is there final correspondence on the matter. Is it worth me going to the financial ombudsman???
I’d appreciate any advice or help.

    thanks

    Rhys

Probably not worth going to the FOS but its free so its your choice and you are not bound by their decision unless you accept it.

If you have used the template letters then I assume you are already aware of the threats and tactics that many lenders use against consumers. The question is whether you are prepared to fight it or pay up.
If you have a question about the voluntary termination process, please read this guide first, as it should have all the answers you need. Please do not hijack another person's thread as I will not respond to you
