Council Tax Court and bailiff fees refund

I was tracked down buy Marstons for unpaid council tax on a previous address. The council tax was only £25 but with cost had to pay them over £180.
When I checked with the council to for a copy of the bill, it was found that the bill was issued by mistake but i have already paid the debt collectors.
Does anyone know if I am entitled to a refund of the court costs of £85 and Marstons fees of £75.

Yes. If there was no debt, the council made an error in seeking a Liability Order. You should get a full refund.

The Council are 100% responsible for this if they made the mistake. Make them repay you & getting anything back from Marston is their problem not yours.
