Hi,
I have and still am living with my mother. She receives pension credit and in our previous home we had council tax benefit. We moved home in the last year but within that year I got married and had a child. Although the intention is for all of us to live together (my wife, child and mother) .At present my wife and I are staying with her parents (where she lives and is registered) for most of the working week and back to my home for the weekend.
In our new home I and my mother carried on the same arrangement of CT benefit or reduction (whatever they call it now). But what happens when my wife and child move in for good.
Have I messed up, mislead the council? Are we still entitled to the same benefits?
Any advice much appreciated.
