  • Council Tax Adjustment Notice

I would like some adivse please.

I have recieved 7 leters regarding council tax 'Adjustment Notice' for the last 7 years. Due to a change in entitlement to reduction.

It states what is owed, then below states 'Less Council Tax Reduction' Which is the same amount as the money owed.

It then states that the total charge for the period is £0.00 Bil attached

Then right at the bottom it states that YOUR ACCOUNT IS IN CREDIT BY -£ (Amount I actually paid)

What does 'minus in credit' mean?

I am going to phone them shortly, but wanted some information and undertsanding before I do.

    Thanks for any advise.

It looks like you’re owed a refund for what you’ve paid already. Lucky you!
