Is right for a solicitor to ask to be paid before finishing the buying of a property?
Also my dad was given the 27th November to move he had to move as the other people were waiting to move in ( he is 85) his solicitors then told him the day before they didn't have all the papers in order and was unable to move.
He moved out and stayed with me, put his things in storage as the solicitor said he would move in today at midday.
When we phoned today the solicitor said he may not be able to move this week as the paperwork isn't there yet!.
They have been paid in full after asking for the account to be settled
    Is this right?
