My two sons inherited a 25% share each in my home when my ex-wife died they both agreed I could use all the capital from the sale of my home to purchase a bungalow if the restriction put in place when we divorced was transferred to the new property like for like they both agreed later my solicitor said it would be much easier To make them joint owners he never mentioned anything about paying second home stamp duty as both sons own other property. this is my only home the boys have not put any extra capital into the property Their share is less than £38000 each can I get a refund from the land registry on the second home stamp duty my solicitor only informed me about the stamp duty the week before completion? thanks you in advance
