Hi
I am just looking for some advice on fire doors in a first floor maisonette
The hallway/landing which leads directly to the stairs has four door off it, bathroom, two bedrooms and the living room. You need to pass through the living room to get to the kitchen.
From looking at the doors I think that the bedroom and living room doors are fire doors ( they are heavier and solid compared to the kitchen door. I really can not tell with the bathroom door
My question is, if I replace them do they need to be firedoors and if so can I paint the existing doors to try and 'tart' them up a little. They are currently that wood look so common in household doors of the 70's and 80's
