Help !! Landlord's estate agent wont pay back deposit.
Hi, could really do with some advice please.
19 yr old daughter (works full time doing nursery nurse apprenticeship) moved into house share in November 2014. (4 other tenants - all students) h £350 deposit held in Deposit Protection Scheme. Tenancy until August 12th 2015 Assured Shorthold.
Daughter found out/observed rest of tenants use drugs - situation became aggressive, Police informed, university police involved, daughter gave 30 days notice and moved out. Paid rent up to day she moved out.
Placed adverts for replacement to fill her room - replacement found. Emailed letting agent numerous times for return of deposit - no response..........
What are my/her rights please?
