  • LPA recievership issue

    hi all,

i have quite a large issue regarding lpa recievership.

I had a few properties with mortgage express (9) prior to my 2012 bankruptcy. Once I was declared bankrupt, MX immediately took charge of the properties.

I have since been discharged form bankruptcy, but I still receive letters regarding council tax on the properties and my credit rating takes an absolute hammering every month because each payment, which should fall due, is being classed as missed.

MX have stated I will never, and can never have the houses back, im not liable for any shortfall due to terms of my bankruptcy.

surely this just isnt right? MX could take years and years to sell these properties and all the while my credit score keeps getting hammered, not to mention being chased for the council tax bills.

I am currently self employed, but soon will hopefully be employed, a further concern is the councils getting an attachment of earnings for the council tax bills, which i feel i simply do not owe!

    any advice, hugely appreciated.
