    I haven't just ignored the solicitor but they don't have the power to say my deeds don't mean a thing. I am going to speak with the land registry and a surveyor as well as with a solicitor as the deeds state what they do and I don't think they can just disregard mine. Because I have offered her a key there is no substantial interference she is refusing because she wants free reign over my land for her staff, business and family. I have no legal obligation to her business particularly as she shouldn't be running it from her home in the first place. If my kids are playing in the paddling pool is it acceptable for strangers to pass through with no prior warning. Not sure my children's safety should also be disregarded.

      A copy of the map would be helpful.
      Generally if there is a ROW all persons with legitimate business at the property can exercise that right..
      That right must be freely exercisable at all times so a locked gate, even where a key is supplied, is always going to be an obstruction e.g. to tradesman/delivery drivers.
      Unfortunately your security concerns will probably be discounted
