I was hoping that you coulld tell me if I was right in thinking this. The situation is that I own my own home in a tenement building along with a few other owners but there are some who are landlords and have tenants in the houses.
We have tried to have meetings before but because of the lack of attendance and other reasons they have really come to nothing, so I was going to see if I could organise it any better (we'll have to see). When I send out letters telling them when the meeting is , I have asked them all to let me know of any unsuitable times in February and March and have had no response, so by that I will just set a date myself. I know one works away during the week and is only home at week-ends, so I have arranged it for a Sunday afternoon, (there are twelve in the block and decisions can be taken ,I think, if there are over 2/3 of the owners or landlords there, I have also asked them in the letter if they are unable to attend to send a representative to speak for them and who can make decisions for them. Could you tell me if this is right - am I right in saying this is what they call a quorum.
