  • Warning letters to neighbours

Is it possible for an individual or a solicitor to write a warning letter to several neighbours about their behaviour? In the past, I thought I had seen notices placed in local newspapers by a solicitor, stating certain facts about an individual who was slandered. Does anyone know anything about this? Has anyone sent a letter(s) to neighbours? Did it solve the problem or make things worse?

It is possible for you to write such a letter.

Whether this would be a wise thing to do will be for you to judge.
Lawyer (solicitor) - retired from practice, now supervising solicitor in a university law clinic. I do not advise by private message.
