  • ELV Stroage

    Hi
A close neighbor is storing ELV’S on his land, in total there are 4 half dismantled vehicles, their parts and parts from countless other broken vehicles stored on the property. The vehicles are stored at the front of the house next to the curb so they are clearly visible. I have mentioned this to the local council and environmental services, neither has made any effort to deal with the situation. I have received an email from a local councilor stating that the resident of the property and his wife have a very good understanding of what is and what is not acceptable/allowable. Also that the matter has been referred to the council’s legal team who feel that they would have difficulty at present in obtaining a conviction. I have read online that the storage of ELV’s must have special permits, it does not say how many vehicles are considered to be storage and if there is a permitted amount allowed, but from what I have read our neighbor is clearly breaking the regulation-law. Any help ad=vioce would be hugely appreciated.

    Thanks
