Hello there
Wondering if anyone is able to help at all - my parents have been in financial difficulties for some time and so in 2011 they had an interim charge placed on their property which was granted by a county court, though having applied for detail of their title from the LRO they didn’t apply for a full charge and it is still showing within the proprietorship register as an interim charge as opposed to in the charges register and is only showing still as an interim charge.
Now that my parents are looking at potentially selling their property, they’re wondering if when completing the solicitors will need to make payment to this debt, as if they should have applied for a full charge would this debt now in fact be statute barred?
Would appreciate any advice anyone can offer if at all possible
Thanks in advance
