Hi
I have CCTV fitted on my house which currently covers my property and garden. It also captures the access lane (not owned by me) which I have a right of access over and an old farm yard on another side of my property. The CCTV was set to cover those area's as I have had numerous issues that arise from outside my boundaries. My CCTV is on a 14 day loop, only myself has access to it and the only time I have saved any footage has been for the police or the council. I am pretty sure that if it was another residential property that I was covering then I would have potential issues, but I am confused to were I stand as it is business land that I am capturing.
The current CCTV is not clear to identify vehicle registrations travelling up the access lane and you would only be able to identify persons if you already knew them. Any advice would be gratefully welcomed and I look forward to being educated on this matter.
