  • Anti Social Behaviour - Landlord responsibility

    Hello,

I live next to a block owned by a housing association. One of their tenants is involved in regular anti-social behaviours and violence against property. I've notified the police of that, but am also trying other avenues.
While I have filed a complaint with housing association, they have a record of not doing anything and have very bad reviews online, so I would like to prepare for escalation.
If they don't resolve the situation, can I take them to small claims court to sue for damages? I have successfully claimed in the past on another matter so I'm familiar with the procedure, but I wanted to know if it is appropriate for such matter.

    Thank you.

For what are you thinking of claiming damages?

He wakes my children up in the evening with his screaming, also sometimes we have to wait before leaving the house until he's gone as we feel unsafe.
