In brief, Claimant sued my mother for payment of installation of central heating system.
My mother counter claimed damages for bad installation, compensation and cost of repairing her house roof. (firm installed flue wrong and damaged the roof).
Claimants solicitors filed the most basic defence I have ever seen, just a bare denial although they did file it in the 14 day period.
Now a few months down the line a new member of the claimants solicitors has taken over and filed a very (untrue) detailed defence.
So, can they do this?
Can we reply to this and challenge all the new detailed defence?
We really need this information now as we are all in court in 7 days.
Cheers.
