I got caught taking a drill bit from b and q silly yes i know learned ny lesson will never happen again.
police were not called they issued me with a ban for 5years are they likely to get the police involved at some point? Or will i just pay the CSR fine and that be the end of it?

Only the courts can issue fines. If someone is asking for money to cover losses then ignore. They have lost nothing

If the police weren't called at the time then very unlikely to get involved after the event
