    Hi

Can a defendant submit a defence signed for (SOT) by his solicitor who ceased to act for him months ago?

if not, how should I proceed te advising the courts. Do I wait for the hearing, bring it up and does that cancel out his defence or should I apply CPR rules to his defence and advise his deadline for submission of a valid defence has now lapses as it was not a legally binding document?

    thanks
