Good Morning,
My partner recently received an enforcement notice for a littering fine from a bailiff company stating that they will be attending our home to remove goods.
My question is that I have been diagnosed with, and receive Personal Independence Payment (enhanced care) for, Type 1 Bipolar disorder which is currently very unstable. I fear that bailiffs attending the property will push me into another severe episode. (I was hospitalised in September for a short period, and really don't want to get pushed back that far again.) My partner is my regustered carer and is also unemployed so as you can imagine money is incredibly tight. I understand that my mental illness may make me a "vulnerable adult".
Is there anything you can advise to prevent the bailiffs attending? My sleep is already being severely affected, which, if left unchecked is likely to cause another manic episode.
Many thanks in advance.
