Hi guys,
hoping someone might be able to help me out a little here. Quite a while ago I came across this story:
www.mirror.co.uk/money/bedroom-tax-court-ruling-appeal-joint-custody-housing-benefit-5766650
I contacted my local council, who at first tried to play stupid games with me when I contacted them a second time to ask why they had not responded to my initial e-mail, sating they had no record of any complaint from me (they said this twice) After a couple of months and a couple more emails from me they wrote to me telling me that all complaints were dealt with in the order received. I contacted them again after maybe another 4 or 5 months to ask if I had reached the front of the queue yet. I was ignored for a month or so until I said I would take my case to the LGO, a few weeks later they responded that they would look into my original email.
As expected they stand by their decision and we are now going to a tribunal.
My own circumstances are that since 1999 when my daughter was born she has stayed with me on a regular basis one or two times a week and alternate weekends, until the past year or so.
Anyway I have 14 days and counting to submit any documentation for my argument, all I have really is the link above. If anyone could help in any way I would really appreciate it.
Thanks
Kenny.
