I currently have a complaint ongoing with lloyds bank. Today the advisor agreed to email in writing actions took for the complaint so far. When I recieved the email it also contained the names, sort code, account numbers and complaint details of two other lloyds account holders. What form of compensation would this entail as for all I know other people have also recieved my information too!

Re: Data protection breach
I am not legally qualified but am too fighting a Data Protection Act matter.
They or you would need to claim distress as it appears you or they have suffered no financial loss though be aware the ability to claim for distress alone relates to fairly new case law which may be appealed.
I would suggest you report a data security issue to the ICO though they are, in my experience, completely hopeless. They may fine Lloyds if they are in the mood.
