You only have to give the police your name and address

It is the legal requirement in this country that the only people you are obliged to give your personal details to upon request are the Police force - Not metro ticket inspectors or council litter enforcement officers. It is against the law for these people to detain you. They are not allowed to block your path, this is called illegal detention and imprisonment. They are not allowed to touch you, this is called Assault. The only time they can touch a person is the same legal right to self defence anyone else has.

Is this correct?
