  • Tomlin order

I have a Tomlin Order in place which I have been paying for the last two years with another 6 years to run.

Due to ill health I have been forced to retire (I'm 64), is it possible to make a F&F offer (lower than the outstanding balance) to settle this debt & Tomlin Order?

I have no income now, in rented accommodation & no assets.

    Re: Tomlin order

We'd need to see a copy of the tomlin order to be able to help properly. Is the tomlin that if you fail to keep up payments they can obtain judgment ? If that is the case I'm sure contact and settlement offer could be accepted as they wouldn't get anything better by going to a judgment, if you fail on the Tomlin then it could be reassessed at a lower rate than what you are paying now due to your reduced circumstances - but like I say a bit more info needed.
