Re: Mindless malicious vandalism
If the area from where these little so-and-sos are throwing the stones belongs to the supermarket, the supermarket operator is, in my opinion, responsible and should do something to deter them. Under Common Law, any owner/occupier of a building or land has a responsibility to ensure that anyone who enters into, encroaches onto or resides in or on, or occupies a building or land they have ownership or control of does not commit a Breach of the Peace. Yes, I know it is an archaic piece of law, but it is still around. The other issue that comes to mind is that the supermarket's trading hours are subject to planning laws. See if any neighbours have experienced similar aggravation from the little so-and-sos and, if so, complain, en masse, to the Planning Department of your local council.

For any animal lovers (like me - aka softies!) the sound can really irritate an animal. I don't like that idea - fine for the teenagers, they can move on which is the point of them, but a dog may be tied up outside the shop, and its owner blissfully unaware that they are causing distress to their animal.

. I have posted a little comparison test for everyone in the Lamp Post :music: , see how everyone gets on.
