  • EX160 Court Fees - required proof

I understand that the system has now changed on issuing a claim and it is all processed in Salford. I recently sent a claim form along with a copy of my evidence (WTC) to issue proceedings. It was returned to me and told that I hadn't submitted the correct information because it requires the proof to be submitted and dated within 1 month.

I was a little surprised, previously I was told by the local court that I had to submit something for WTC dated within 6 months (and even been told by another court within 1 year).

So does anyone know what it should be?

Re: EX160 Court Fees - required proof

I would be very grateful for any advice that anyone can offer me. I am currently completing Form EX160 as I am on a very low income. However I am having difficulties in completing the section which asks for details of my income. My two questions are:

    1) My ex pays me a monthly maintenance payment for our children but this is by an informal arrangement. We do not have any official documentation proving our arrangement. So what evidence will be acceptable with the form?

    2) My parents supplement my income with a monthly gift of money. Again, there is no official documentation to prove our arrangement, so what evidence can I provide?

Many thanks for any advice you can give.

Is the money given in cash or paid via the bank?
