    Would any kind person have a link, or perhaps be able to add a file, for the Moneylenders Acts 1900 & 1927? (Think I've got the years right, )

    Yes the dates are spot on i have it on hard copy, i will try and get the mrs to scan it at work if you like.
    Intersting act, in many ways offered far more protection than the cca although disjointed and difficult to follow. Many arn't aware that a lot of the provisions of this were still in force untill the mid 1980s when the agreemnet regualtions for the ccA were intruduced.

      Yes please, Peter!

      Thank you - as you rightly say, in force until about May? 1985**, which is when the Consumer Credit (Agreements) Regs 1983* kicked in.

      (* although titled 1983, didn't come into operation until the **above date)
