  • contract?

    hi
my son and partner were going to put their daughter into a nursery when partner went back to work. it was going to be three days a week 50 pounds a day. after only being at work for 3 days and daughter in nursery she decided going back to work was not for her. so she cancelled nursery place and took daughter out. they havent paid yet but have been told they have to pay for the whole month!!!!!!! because they signed a contract. is this correct or can they just pay for the days she went in. they can still give the place to another child and then get twice the money which seems unfair. any help on this will be useful thanks guys

    Re: contract?

It depends on the terms of the contract. What are they? Presumably, since you have outlined the issue above, the contract states that a month must be paid for. If this is what your son and partner signed, then given that they must have agreed to it, then they should pay it. Had they objected, they should not have agreed to the contract.
