Just a quick one whilst we are on the subject of HRMC.... I sent off my claim pack as always and went to withdraw my money two weeks ago and lo and behold there was no money in my account I called up HRMC and they rudely told me that they have not received my claim form even though I insisted that I had as this is now the second time that they have done this to me last time was back in 2008 so I know only too well the importance of returning my claim form, this has left me depressed and broke I have two children and two pets to feed I have run out of money and the bank will not lend me anymore as I am in the red already and it could take up to 4 weeks to start a new claim, I insisted that I sent the form off ( funny how I sent 3 letters that day inc.the one to the tax office and the other two people got their letters the next day very strange) I was told last time that in future to send the claim pack by recorded delivery, and I will be doing this in the future in fact I will copy the form 5 times and send it off then at least they should have at least one of them but in the meantime I am broke my kids are eating whatever we have left in the cupboard and freezer which is slowly perishing and all because they claim not t have received my claim form, and you cannot argue with them either what they say goes.... terrible state of affairs:tinysmile_cry_t:
