Okies, so I have 4 credit cards debts which total to around £3000.
I'm trying to get a loan with my own bank Lloyds and Nationwide.
Both banks decline.
Here's the issue.
I've a good monthly income of £1800 including private pension, trust fund payment and benefits.
My credit score with Experian is 729.
I can't see anything adverse on my credit file, no late repayments in 2 years, no default which left my credit file on 18th June.
I really don't get why I'm being declined for credit, I state what I want funds for to consolidate 4 credit cards into 1 payment.
Any help please.
I state I'm retired which I am, home owner with no mortgage.
No loans with any other provider.
Can easily make the monthly repayments.
Mystified to say the least.
