  • Neighbor's Wall Encroachment - Seeking Advice on Easement

    Hey everyone,

I'm in a bit of a predicament and could really use some advice. My neighbour recently built a new driveway wall, and in the process, it encroached on my boundary by about 10cm over 10 meters. He's a retired solicitor and a decent guy, and he's suggested creating an easement to address this issue.

I'm not entirely sure how to work out this figure or if it's even worth bothering with. I'm torn about what to do, and I'm hoping to get some guidance from anyone who has experience with property disputes or easements. Should I pursue the easement route, or are there other options I should consider? I want to handle this situation amicably, but I also want to make sure my rights are protected. Any insights or advice you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance for your help!
