...i.e. a bluff. NHS staff and other govt bodies sound off with we have a ''zero tolerance'' policy and use it as a warning, or a means to stop any criticism eg of clinicians, nhs pen pushers, etc. (especially relevant when the elderly shoved into care homes - died during covid due to wrong decisions - the families have a right to express themselves and be angry too, so long as its legal)
But I have not seen this term ever used as a means to prosecute anyone. Has anyone heard of it? I was told 'we have a zero tolerance policy' before writing down a single word or before i made a phone call
