Hi quick question for you all (and not a very important one) ,
I know what an offensive weapon is in the UK under law, it's pretty simple
BUT , what does the word 'offensive' actually mean here? There are 3 possible definitions I can see:
A) causing someone to feel resentful, upset, or annoyed. "the allegations made are deeply offensive to us"
B) actively aggressive; attacking.
"offensive operations against the insurgents"
C) they are committing a legal offence by having the weapon and it is there for 'offensive'
Don't worry I'm not facing charges/police investigation ! Just a silly question
