  • Claiming money or property from a dissolved company/charity

    https://www.gov.uk/claiming-money-or...%20shareholder
So if a company has dissolved we normally have to get a court order to restore the company if it owes us money we would like to reclaim.

However if it was a charity and the money passed to other charities rather than HMRC, is it still neccessary to restore the charity via court order or is another process followed?
    Thankyou.

You are assuming that this dissolved entity has the money to pay if it is restored to the register. Does it? Is it even worth investigating?

      Thankyou for responding.
I know for a fact that it does, easily many times more. The closing accounts were clearly viewable on companies house.
