  • BA Issue: How to issue Court Proceedings from Outside UK

Please, can anyone suggest the process for someone who is NOT based in the United Kingdom (and also NOT based in Europe) issue a Court Proceedings against British Airways for refunds of the new ticket they were compelled to purchase at Heathrow Terminal 5 and compensations?

The individual informed me that based on her experience that CEDR is an extremely corrupt alternative dispute resolution body. That the female Adjudicator claimed to have a law degree but intentionally made a false statement that they did not provide evidence to support that they were at the Check-in before the Check-in counter was closed. Whereas she claimed to have provided still pictures of the duty managers that were in attendance to their plight and recorded voice note of the Check-in agent that confirmed their arrival on time before the Check-in was closed. Yet the Adjudicator created evidence for BA that was never provided by BA to reject their claim.

The value of the claim is far less than £10,000 so likely to be allocated to the Small Claims Court
