Simply put:
Went for a prescreen for a trial worth several thousand pounds.
Told I had extra heartbeats on my ECG, and would probably not be invited to join the trial.
A week later, I was invited. Told I would be part of the main dosing group as well, not just a reserve.
Three weeks spent following their guidelines. No alcohol, certain foods, exercise, etc.
Went to the study ward (4 hour journey). Another doctor told me I had to leave, after doing my ECG, and told me I should never have been invited to join the study - "it was an oversight on our part".
Came home, now stewing. I changed all my plans and made many sacrifices to attend this study, including telling another study place that I did not want to continue with them, having done a prescreen there.
What are my rights here?
