In 2019 I booked some tickets for a music festival that was due to take place in May 2020.
This was cancelled and the tickets 'rolled' over to May 2021.
Again, this was cancelled and 'rolled' over to May 2022.
I emailed the provided today and asked for my money back - this was the reply:-
"Thank you for your refund request. We emailed all ticket holders in January 2021 with all the information regarding 2020 tickets. If you didn't receive this it may be worth checking your junk/spam folder to make sure our emails aren't going there. You can also view the email here.
As stated in the email the deadline for refund requests was February 6th 2020. As this deadline has now passed all 2020 tickets have been deferred to 2022 and now come under our statutory terms and conditions, which do not allow for refunds. "
Now, I do vaguely recall the email from Jan 2021 - but I do think it's unfair they won't refund my tickets now.,
Is there anything that I can do from a legal standpoint?
