Hi guys I have 2 questions I'd appreciate help with
I've been RUI for close to 22 months now.
I was speaking to my solicitor today since I'd requested my property back and she said she would help, when speaking to her she said something which made me realise that the police had straight up lied about the reason they arrested me for.
Instead, when I was arrested they said I was arrested for "sexual communications with a child" and it turns out to be from allegations that some idiots made against me back in 2017, but my solicitor had sad the police were acting on information they supposedly had of someone with my IP address accessing illegal images. No idea why they would lie but I remember thinking that something seemed off about the whole thing.
Are they allowed to do that?
I'd also noticed that the police have broken many of the PACE acts they need to follow during both of my arrests, could this mean that any evidence is likely to be inadmissible?
Thanks for any help
