Hi everyone, slme siz years ago I was accused of a sexual offence. I was subsequently asked to come in for a police interview at the accusing station.
I voluntarily went with legal council to try and get the matter cleared up.
I was released without charge or orders
No further action was taken against me due to no evidence of the alleged incident happening.

I have since hanono further dealings with the police

however Im currently applying for a job role at a school and was wondering if this might come up in an enhanced dbs check?

Id expect not as it wasnt an arrest and no caution was given to me, but Id like to know if theres a precedent.

It is possible (but not certain) but allegations may be revealed on an enhanced DBS check.
It depends on the nature of the allegations and whether or not the police believe that the information may be relevant to a safeguarding role or DBS regulated activity involving children and vulnerable adults.
