Sending Legal Letter

I need to send a legal notice to a company and the only option is post.

Is there a way to prove that the letter was sent before a hearing at the hearing?

I have considered registered post but all that demonstrates is that a letter has been sent but not which.

My concern is that the company will simply deny having received the letter.
