I went to starbucks yesterday and they took my temperature without consent. I was dealing with my baby, i looked up and the woman was within a metre of me with the gun to my head. It scared the living crap out of me and has triggered my anxiety hugely. I did nkt consent to her taking it or being that close to me.
They also wrote my temp down with my name and number (not allowed as per the gov website) and stored my details in a cup which was on a table in the customer area. Anyone could have taken it. This is a serious gdpr breach I imagine!!!
I've sent an email complaining but I'm wondering if i need to take more action as this has really shaken me up and given me a bad anxiety episode.
