  • Legal Help- Car Insurance

Hi, i need advice about vehicle insurance. I was looking for quotes for my car and when i found i proceeded to buy it, i set the right settings and stuff and accidentally set that i had a one years no claims bonus even tho i haven't held my license for a year at that current time. I didn't notice that and paid for my insurance deposit and got my blackbox fitted within the next two weeks, after that my insurance got cancelled and i got an email from the company saying they need no claims bonus proof, i then checked the receipt email i got from when i bought the policy and it indeed says i have 1 years no claims bonus but the license obtained
date stated that i got it on the right date. So i bought the policy 9 months after i passed and there's no possible way of having 1 years no claims and I am rather annoyed that their system did not pick that up.
I was paying £98 before and then they raised the price to £141 which is completely obscene, i asked how much would it be to cancel my insurance and they said i'd have to pay for all the fees and the blackbox fitting fee which would totally me over £200.
I can barely pay the £141 a month and to pay that much for my 2004 polo with 55 horse power is ridiculous.*

Not true as you could have had a policy as a learner driver and built up a NCB.

What are the fees they want you to pay?
    Which insurance company?
