    Any advice would be appreciated?

Husband is a professional driver and was involved in an accident a few weeks ago . At a roundabout car in fromt went to go and he touched her bumper.

no speed - no damge to his car - superfical scuff to her bumper (he took photos)

They both got out both were ok no injuries (obviously shook up) He insited they exchanged insuance details depite her not wanting to as she didnt want to claim as is selling her car.

Next thing we have got a IME claim through the post claiming for bump to head, elbow/knee/wrist/leg sprain.

She is not claiming for any damage to car or going through insurance.
She has sought no medical attention at the time or since the incident.
She claims she is off work and continues to be so (but has not seen a Gp so how as you need a medical certificate after 1 week self certifying)
She has not been advised to seek furthe rhelp /physio etc.

She is claiming up to 10K

His legal cover on his nsurance doesnt cover it and he isnt reporting to Insurance company as there is no claim on the car

My advice is to ask for 1. proof of injury and 2. proof of time off work.

It seems like a scam but anyone any advice on how to manage this please?

    Thank you

    Advise his insurers immediately.
This is a Personal injury claim following an RTA and should be dealt with by his insurers
    Pass the claim to them
    Do not respond to IME
