Does a Ltd Company have a legal obligation not to allow itself to be involved in a fraud? It's a sensitive matter so I'll try to explain my question. If a third party deliberately lies to the Ltd Company in order to make money from the public, then the Ltd Company publishes the lies as the "truth" which is then set in stone and also makes money from the third party and the public, when the Ltd company is then made aware of the lies with comprehensive evidence from many sources, is the Ltd company obliged to act against the third party?
