  • Recourse to Justice following poor legal advice

If evidence relied upon by the prosecution includes a statement which is grossly untrue and as I only was told of this just 3 days before the hearing and I tell my solicitor that I have 3 witnesses which can testify that this is blatently false but the solicitor says we will not need to call them to give evidence and my subsequent attempts to call out this false statement gets castigated by the prosecution for me not having witnesses there to attest to the false nature of the statement what recourse do I have to justice to get this matter resolved?
I should point out that this false statement made much of the prosecutions case.
