  • agricultural ties

I hate living near to the city, I hate the noise, it actually makes me ill. So we have been looking into buying a small holding which is 15 miles from the city. In the sellers pack it states that the occupants must have agricultural ties. I have read a few explainations of what these are and I am still not sure.
One says that the occupants must be employed as farm workers, another says at least one of the occupants must be a farm worker.
My wife works as a nurse, I don't work, but I would want to go Tom and Barbara and work the land for self sufficency. Is there a law or a law based explaination of what is actually meant by the term 'agricultural ties'?
